Style: CROS (single-sided hearing loss)
- For single-sided deafness: sends sound from the side with no usable hearing to the better ear

About Oticon at Integrate Hearing
As an audiologist, I find this particularly interesting because hearing is about so much more than just understanding words. It’s about picking up on the laughter around the dinner table, hearing someone join a conversation, or staying aware of what’s happening around you when you’re out and about. I really like that Oticon Reveal is designed to help patients access both speech and these important contextual sounds, creating a richer and more natural listening experience.
Ultimately, what I like most about Oticon Reveal is its focus on balancing clear speech with the wider sound environment. For me, the goal isn’t simply to help patients hear louder or focus on one sound at the expense of everything else.
Fitting and Aftercare
Every hearing aid fitting starts with a hearing aid assessment, which takes around 90 minutes. Your audiologist tests your hearing, talks with you about the situations you find difficult and recommends the hearing aids that suit your hearing and lifestyle.
